Influence of Music and Movies On My Life Essay - 637 Words

Essay Art has influenced my life dramatically as it made me grow into the young man I am today. Art has been shown in music and movies because it goes through the creative process just like all other art. In this essay, I will explain how both music and movies influenced my life. My first impression of music was positive after listening to Michael Jackson. His beats and rhythms were different than anything I have ever heard before. Listening to Michael Jackson helped me grow up to be friendly, easy-going, and opened minded to new things. His music made me feel as if every horrible situation can be seen as a way to better myself because his music was always so positive and always targeted to help others and teach people to have a voice†¦show more content†¦However, he just used it to attract more attention and promote his music. The glove made him stand out more when he had interviews, or in award shows, and when he performed. I can relate because when I dress up for events, I like to stand out and show my creativity through the clothes I wear. Also I can relate this to basketball as when I play I love to do acrobatic plays or plays that haven’t been seen so my game can stand out to who ever is watching. Art has been influential in my life because art instills creativity. Therefore, art has been a motivation for me to improve my schooling and basketball skills. Playing basketball is an art because it is the product of human creativity. I am always looking to do things differently than anyone else. The art of creating movies and taking the time to think of something that no one has ever thought about inspires me. Art is the result of brainstorming and putting it into action. Another example of art is movies like â€Å"The Matrix† by Larry and Andy Wachowski because it was something I never seen before. A world where you live in a computer but you’re just really sitting in a chair and your mind is wondering in a world created by huma ns. The special effects in this movie showed creativity because it’s like every single idea that Larry and Andy thought of came true in the movie.
